We don’t jump to conclusions here at Freedom Report, we always want the whole story.
In interviewing the residents of the TWIN PINES Trailer Park in Mississauga, they are claiming they are being kicked out of their homes unfairly.
We heard them, but there had to be more to the story.
We did more research and found out more facts.
This interview with the PEEL HOUSING CORPORATION confirms all that we had learned.
Here is the UNCUT interview with Dan Labrecque that confirms everything we learned on the issue.
Here is the Article from PEEL REGION’s website:
Peel Living has started work to redevelop its 25-acre Twin Pines lands, currently a mobile home park, in south-central Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
The Total Public Value (TPV) Framework, or vision for the future Twin Pines is to create a community that provides a mix of housing options, is age-friendly, connected and environmentally responsible, and supports the financial sustainability of Peel Living’s affordable housing portfolio.
The TPV Framework is the culmination of the collective insights of the residents, community members, Peel Living and many others who value the future of Twin Pines. It consists of Guiding Principles and Outcomes to be achieved through the redevelopment project.

Where we are now
Phase 2 of the project began in summer 2017 and will be completed in 2019. Work includes:
Engage with Twin Pines residents to develop a Resident Transition Plan
Select a development partner and concept plan
Initiate planning approvals, as required.
On December 7, 2017, the Resident Transition Plan report and recommendations was approved by the Peel Living Board of Directors. The Resident Transition Plan is a plan to support current residents in making decisions about their future. Peel Living is committed to supporting the transition of residents and ensuring that all residents have an affordable option for those who wish to remain in the redeveloped Twin Pines.
For more details on the Resident Transition Plan see “Resident Transition Plan” below.
The project team is also preparing requirements to be included in a Request for Proposal to select a development partner which will be released in 2018.
